Thanksgiving mostly bloopers photo shoot

Thanksgiving is my 2nd favorite holiday. (A gold star to the first person who can guess my first.)

We enjoyed a great time with my sister and her family who came all the way out from California. (Speaking of gold stars, they deserve a million because they drove 24 hours STRAIGHT to get here. With 2 small kiddos. In a car. Driving. 24 hours. I could not do that. Ever. I would go stark raving mad.)

Anyway, we went to this very cool Homestead Craft Fair as our grand finale outing and I’ll just say that if you ever find yourself in Texas on Thanksgiving weekend you should go. So fun.

Of course we had to take a photo of all the munchkins. And you can image how that went…

First we gather the troops. We have Hayley, always eager to please; Isaiah, always, always with something in his hand; Josiah, always screaming he does. not. want. to. [fill in the blank] and Malachi, wondering what on earth Josiah’s problem is.

Finally got ‘em all in. Malachi, being the well-trained photo-taker he is, is ready to huddle in and get close.

Aaron: Why are you touching me?

Zoe: Do we really have to do this?

Isaiah: This is boring. I’d rather be doing science.

Hayley hangs in there patiently.

And this is Josiah’s 2nd most common facial expression: mouth agape.

Malachi (through gritted teeth): Come on! Would you all get together!?!

Zoe: GETYOURHANDSOFFMEALREADY

Aaron: Mom, why? Why is he touching me?

Josiah: Oh, what’s that? Was that a aminal? I think I just saw a cow. Was that a cow? I’m pretty sure that was a cow.

Hayley: …

Isaiah: Cheese, schmeeze, bleeze (sigh) blah, blah, blah…

Isaiah: Might as well smile so this will be over sooner.

Zoe: When…..will….this….be…..over….

Aaron: I’m so done already.

Malachi: Josi-ah! Look at the camera!

Malachi: You people disgust me.
