Big love-it-like-ice-cream day!
August 18, 2009
Oh it’s a big day around here. Two of the 4 start school today and I am ECSTATIC. Looks like our homeschooling days are changing from me bearing the whole burden to me sharing the burden and I’m very, very glad.
It never ceases to amaze me how God does things behind my back and yet right in front of my nose that I don’t even realize it until one day it suddenly pops out at me like a jack-in-the-box and I see it. I see how He’s been working and guiding and orchestrating, always with infinite grace, love and mercy. And when I finally catch on to what He’s doing, I just want to fall on my face in gratitude — that He loves so much and is so good. How is it that He is so good?
That’s the case with this school situation. Never in a million years would I have been able to come up with (what appears to be at this point) such a great setup for us.
Maybe I can explain the details in another post, but right now, I’ve gotta get everyone up and out of this house by 7:15 sharp!
