Uganda, a former atheist & more

March 18, 2009

I’m short on time, thus the bullet points:

  • We’re planning a mission trip to Uganda this summer.  You can read more about it here.
  • I finished The Shack.  My thoughts coming soon.  Next up, Katt’s in the Cradle by Ginger Kolbaba and Christy Scannell.  It’s a novel about pastors’ wives.  I’m more of a nonfiction type, but someone from Simon & Schuster asked me if I’d be willing to read it if they sent a copy and I agreed.  We’ll see how it goes.  Anyone read it?
  • John Piper is on twitter.  Follow him here and/or ask him a question.
  • Because one can never read too many blogs, I just thought I’d highlight one I especially enjoy and think you might too (if you aren’t already).  Conversion Diary: The diary of a former atheist, is written by Jennifer.  Check out the archives and her sidebars for archives, popular posts, etc.  A great read.
  • Last but not least, Are You Going to Finish Strong?, a short, inspirational video.

Katts in a Cradle was a great read! I enjoyed it and made me realize just how ‘human’ we are and how much we have in common.
