I have succumbed
October 17, 2008
Well, my heart is now divided. I have this blog. And I have Facebook. I resisted for so long, but I finally gave in. Not sure how I feel about that.
I admit, it has been fun to reconnect with people I haven’t communicated with in years–20 years in some cases. (And yes, I realize this confirms I’m old…that I actually had relationships with people 20 years ago. Where’s the number to the senior living facility?)
On the other hand, it sucks. you. in. Well, it’s sucked me in anyway. I have spent more time on Facebook in the last 3 days than I care to admit.
Let me tell you, it’s a cult over there. I had no idea the extent to which Facebook is taking over the world. I’ve determined that almost every single person I’ve laid eyes on since the doctor spanked my little bottom on the day of my birth is on Facebook.
Speaking of which, I wonder if I can find that doctor…
