Praying for our children and husbands

September 2, 2008

I find that a solid, consistent, uninterrupted prayer life is virtually impossible with small humans in the house.  But that’s just me.  Maybe I’m just easily distracted.  I suppose escaping to the closet, closing the door behind me and ignoring any pleas to be fed might be an option.  BECAUSE I’M PRAYING DARN IT!  Hmmm, I’ll have to think about that…

In the meantime, I found these great printables (at Revive Our Hearts) and thought I’d pass them on to you.  There are all sorts of things to print out, but to get started I chose 31 Days of Praying for Your Husband and 31 Biblical Virtues to Pray for Your Children.  Now each day of the month I have something specific to pray for and I don’t have to come up with it on my own.

I guess now I’ve gotta feed ‘em.  Shoot.

Thanks for the links. Like you, I don’t seem to have the time to do this, even though my kids are all in school. If I don’t get certain things done while nobody is here, then they won’t get done or the whole house is subject to my stress of being overwhelmed. I love guides like these! Thanks again! Have a blessed day!
