So my daughter brings a note home from the school nurse last week which says she is short one immunization.  If she doesn’t get said immunization by September 19, she’ll be kicked out of school until we show proof that she got it.

Sometimes I just want to eat him he’s that cute

I was busy with the baby when my 2-year-old came into the room wanting something. This time the answer was no.  Crying ensued.
So, in an effort to distract him I say, “Can you help me? Will you throw this in the laundry?”
“No,” he says, “I too cying.”

Who said breastfeeding was easy?

Of all the things new mothers are surprised by, the fact that breastfeeding doesn’t come naturally seems to always be somewhere near the top of the list.  That and the fact that you had no idea how much a baby would change your life.  (OK, so maybe these are my top two.)
