Homeschooling for Free Series
August 2, 2008
I have a habit–a habit of creating blogs and websites just because I think it’s fun. Mind you, I don’t like maintaining said blogs and websites, but creating them? Like it.
Anyway, I’ve gotta get all my stuff in one place and stop this cycle of throwing up sites all over creation (focus Amy, focus). This will relieve some of my brain clutter. So, withpurpose is hereby my official brain dump. Putting it all in one spot equals less maintenance. Less maintenance equals a better me.
I’ll begin with the Homeschooling for Free series. You may have seen the same information at different online locations previously (ahem), but now I’m putting it all here. It is just as it sounds–a lot of free homeschooling resources. Because I don’t think homeschooling should cost a lot of money.
Here are the posts in the series:
- Homeschooling for Free: 48 Language Arts Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 15 Math Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 18 Unit & Theme Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 13 Foreign Language Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 33 Literature Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 26 Fine Arts Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 31 Social Studies Resources
- Homeschooling for Free: 20 Science Resources
By the way, I know I’ve only barely scratched the free homeschooling resources surface, so if you know of free resources others might find useful, by all means, leave ‘em in the comments (of the appropriate subject’s post. For example, if you know of a great math resource, leave it in the Homeschooling for Free: 15 Math Resources post, not the Homeschooling for Free: 48 Language Arts Resources post.) Thanks!
Happy surfing!

Thanks for sharing. I have to watch what we spend for everything. When possible, I make my own workbooks and we do a lot of field trips.

I’m contacting you to see if you would be interested in doing a review of our new Bible-based online game.
BIG Bible Town is a new online game that teaches God’s Word and builds Christian character as K-6 kids practice putting their faith into action. Parents now have a new opportunity to channel their kids’ love of video games into a fun Bible learning experience.
Big Bible Town is designed specifically for K-6 children who enjoy playing online games like Club Penguin or NeoPets. But first and foremost, BIG Bible Town is a great Bible education tool for families, which currently includes 20 Bible story games and will grow over 90 within the next 18 months.
You can see our intro movie and then evaluate the game by getting a free account at http://www.BigBibleTown.com
Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.
Blessings,
Bobby Wells
