While watching a fishing show on TV:

6-year-old: “Watching this show makes me hungry for fish.”

3-year-old: “Watching this show makes me hungry for Sam’s chicken.”

    Don’t you just love it. Their comments seem so random at times or at least the 3-year-old’s seems disconnected. It reminds me of the story of a friend of mine who was helping dress her young children for church. The oldest, a girl of 7, asked for her hair to be made into a bun. Younger brother, with all sincerity, asked for his to be made into a hamburger.

    Christie, you’re right…I’m not that type. We happened to be visiting friends who had cable and we were enjoying Animal Planet.
    Alida, :) Sam, as in “Sam’s Club” where you can get a hot, juicy, perfectly cooked, rotisserie chicken for only $4.88. What a deal.
