Ahhhh, Mother’s Day

It’s Mother’s Day and do you know what I want more than anything? Not jewelry. Not flowers. Not clothes. Not chocolate (although a little chocolate never hurt anyone). Not breakfast in bed. I can even do without a nice meal at a nice restaurant.

Silence. And solitude. That’s all. Heck, I’m so low maintenance I make vinyl siding look like nothin’ but trouble.

So, excuse me while I go and do what I want to do…and not feel an ounce of guilt about it.
